- 5:00 p.m. – Dinner
- 6:30 p.m. – Auction
Requirements:
- Youth were required to be registered by January 1.
- Parents of youth that this is their first or second year showing are required to attend one parent information meeting.
- Thursday, January 12 from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, January 14 from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
- Youth that have shown less than 4 years are required to attend an animal care/showmanship clinic (Dates TBD).
- Youth must be enrolled and approved in 4-HOnline. A link will be sent out after January 1, 2023 so youth can be enrolled for the new program year.
- Youth have to fill out a required Animal Book and return it to the the Cooperative Extension Office by May 5, 2023.
Important Dates:
- 10/19/22 at 6:30 p.m. – Livestock Interest Meeting for parents and community members wanting to know more about the basics of our livestock show.
- 11/30/22 – Heifers must be on site.
- 10/31/22 – Registration opens
- 1/1/23 – Registration deadline
- 1/26/23 – Hogs*, goats, and lambs must be on site
- 3/1/23 – N.C. Cooperative Extension, Beaufort County Center must know if you are selling or keeping your animal.
- 5/5/23 – Animal Books due to the Cooperative Extension Center
*please note the change from 30 days on site to 60 days this year.
