4-H Clover

Beaufort County 4-H is hosting its second annual Poster Contest!

All entries are due to the Beaufort County Cooperative Extension Office by Friday, March 24 by 5:00 p.m..

Theme: Positive Impact of Raising Livestock
Deadline: Friday, March 24 by 5:00 p.m.
Age Categories:

  • 5-7 (non-competitive, all youth will receive participation ribbons)
  • 8-12
  • 13-18

Posters will be judged by this Positive Impact of Raising Livestock Poster Judging Rubric.

Important things to note:

  • Posters will be displayed and judged at the Beaufort County 4-H Livestock Show on Thursday, March 30. (Youth do not have to be participants in the 4-H Livestock Show to enter).
  • Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony for the Livestock Show at 4:30 p.m. and posted on the Beaufort County 4-H Facebook Page.
  • Youth do not have to be members of 4-H or participating in the livestock show to enter into the contest.
  • Posters must go along with the theme of “Positive Impact of Raising Livestock” to be displayed.
  • Posters from youth ages 5-7 will be non-competitive (youth will get participation ribbons).
  • Posters need to be standard size, no trifold. Posters can be no larger than 24×36 inches.
  • Posters need to be cardboard or paper.
