Camp is a place where children can make meaningful connections – with nature, with friends, and with themselves. Children disconnect from the virtual world for a week and get an opportunity to be children again. They get a chance to leave behind the stresses of everyday life and enjoy fun activities like
- horseback riding,
- canoeing,
- challenge course (depending on children’s age),
- environmental education activities,
- archery,
- and SO MUCH MORE!
Beaufort County 4-H is planning to camp at Betsy Jeff Penn 4-H Camp from July 2-July 7. Betsy Jeff Penn 4-H Camp is located in Reidsville, NC. Youth ages 8-12 are able to attend camp.
The cost will be $450 for the week. If you would like to apply for a scholarship to help you pay for camp, please email our 4-H Agent, Chasady Wudkwych and she will send you a scholarship application. These scholarship applications will be due on March 1, 2023.
