Want to enhance your leadership skills while also having a great time? Apply to be a 4-H Teen Leader this summer with Beaufort County 4-H!
The purpose of the summer teen leadership program is to offer teens leadership experiences as well as a reference for their first job.
This volunteer experience will provide hours needed for BETA, CTE, Jr.
League, etc. To get credit, you would need to submit for signature upon completion of this program.
Program Requirements

Must be age 13-18 as of January 1, 2023 to apply.

Online Applications turned in by May 18.

Reference from adult (not a parent/guardian) submitted by May 19.

- Tuesday, May 23 – 3:45-5:45 p.m. at N.C. Cooperative Extension, Beaufort County Center

- June 12-14 – 4-H Critter Camp – Environmental education themed day camp
held at Goose Creek State Park for 5-7 year olds. Volunteer times are
from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. - June 27-29 – 4-H Camp Wannagoma – Environmental education themed day
camp held at Goose Creek State Park for 8-12 year olds. Volunteer
times are from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. - July 19-20 – 4-H gARTen Camp – Art and garden themed camp held at the
N.C. Cooperative Extension, Beaufort County Center in Washington for 5-7
year olds. Volunteer times are from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. - August 8-10 – 4-H Cooking Camp– Cooking themed day camp held
at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Beaufort County Center in Washington for
8-12 year olds. Volunteer times are from 9:15 a.m.-1:30 p.m. - August 19-20 – 4-H Cooking Camp Jr- Cooking themed day camp held
at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Beaufort County Center in Washington for
8-12 year olds. Volunteer times are from 9:15 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
