“I’m Soundarya, an intern with the N.C. Cooperative Extension office for Beaufort County this summer and look forward to learning more about the major crops grown here. I’m studying agricultural business management at NC State. I am originally from Cary, North Carolina, and took interest in agriculture seeing the large potential for further growth and innovation and am eager to learn more about ways I can contribute to the issues farmers face in my future career. Outside of my internship, I can be found taking long walks by the waterfront and visiting local shops.”
