There are so many kitchen gadgets available today. Even seasoned cooks can sometimes find themselves unsure of how to get the most out of their kitchen appliances. Join us at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center for one or both of our Kitchen Tech Cooking Classes. Classes will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a registration fee of $15.00. Enjoy our hands-on cooking class, get safety and cleaning tips, and leave with a full stomach!

Electric Pressure Cookers- November 9th
Busy schedules make preparing homemade meals tough, but electric pressure cookers can help cut down the time to delicious dinners. On Nov. 9th we will explore electric pressure cookers; experience how they work and how to utilize all their functions while we cook a variety of dishes.

Air fryers can recreate the texture and flavor of fried foods, without the added fats and calories from cooking in oil. They’re also great at reheating foods and can be used for other unique recipes. Navigate the world of air frying with us on Nov. 30th; learn everything from the history of air fryers and different accessories that allow you to utilize all the functions, to healthy food preparation techniques, and leave with some of our favorite recipes! 

Reserve your seat today by completing the class registration and payment. We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Class size is limited and complete registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
