The 2017 NC OVT soybean and sorghum data are now available on the OVT website (www.ncovt.com). This includes single location data, location summary tables, statewide data, and multiple year analysis for all 5 of our 2017 soybean locations and 2017 statewide data for sorghum.
Starting this year for soybeans, we combined herbicide traits by maturity group. As such, you won’t see different tables by herbicide trait (Conventional, LL, RR) as you have in the past. Instead, all traits will be in the same table, split out by maturity groups. Additionally, we have combined the full season and double crop data into the same table for nearly all reports (the location summary tables are the exception) in an effort to reduce the total number of tables reported. Each of these combined tables are sorted by full season performance, with the top yield group bolded for both full season and double crop planting dates.
The website contains both visible tables, and links to downloadable PDF versions. In both types of tables, the variety names are hyperlinked to the associated tech sheet for that variety.
